Healing Guidelines

Aftercare Instructions

Taking care of your new tattoo is essential for proper healing and longevity

Step 1: Bandage Care

After Nastya has placed the bandage on you, it is recommended to leave it on for 3-5 days. This bandage is waterproof so you may shower with it on.

If the bandage starts to come off earlier, remove it immediately and DO NOT try to rebandage it.

Step 2: Removing Bandage

When you take off your bandage, it is recommended to do so in the shower or under warm water. Slowly peel the bandage off.

Using UNSCENTED soap and warm water, gently wash off any excess ink, plasma, and residue with your hand. DO NOT soak it in water.

Step 3: Drying

Gently pat dry the area with a piece of paper towel.

DO NOT rub and/or exfoliate your fresh tattoo.

Step 4: Moisturizing

When your tattoo starts scabbing, apply a thin layer of UNSCENTED moisturizer to the area.

Some recommended brands you can use include: Aveeno, Lubriderm, and Tattoo Goo.

DO NOT use Vaseline or Petroleum.

Step 5: Ongoing Care

Continue cleaning and moisturizing your tattoo for 2 weeks or until the tattoo has fully healed and stopped scabbing.

Wear loose and soft clothing that doesn't constrict the area of the tattoo.
